This model has been developed with a specific pattern for show jumping. Its ergonomic shape and reinforced upper area are designed to adapt precisely to a jumping saddle, helping to free the withers area and support freedom of movement without rubbing during jumping or daily training.

Each S’ILLA saddle pad is entirely handcrafted in Mallorca, following an artisanal process that begins long before cutting and stitching.

The fabric is created in a traditional Mallorcan textile workshop, where skilled artisans produce authentic Mallorcan Ikat fabric thread by thread. Each thread is dyed according to the characteristic “llengües” pattern and then woven to create a fabric rich in texture, identity and the subtle variations that belong to true handcraft.

From this fabric, the saddle pad begins to take shape. It is cut, shaped and assembled following a pattern developed for equestrian use. During this process, the necessary reinforcement and fastening elements are carefully incorporated, including grape-based vegan leather finishes and Velcro girth loops, designed to support stability under the saddle and help reduce movement during exercise.

It is not just another saddle pad. It is an equestrian piece with design, craftsmanship and cultural identity, created to bring Mallorca’s textile tradition into the world of the horse.

Each piece requires 10 to 15 days of work before it is ready to be shipped.

Mallorcan Ikat fabric, traditionally known as “llengües”, is a heritage textile from Mallorca, recognisable for its elongated, irregular shapes full of movement. Its pattern is not printed onto the fabric; it is created from threads that are dyed beforehand and then woven on the loom.

These shapes, known as “llengües”, resemble small flames or organic brushstrokes, and form part of a textile tradition deeply connected to the island’s identity.
